Can Someone With No Marketing Experience Succeed On The Internet?

Filed under: Internet Marketing — by yubuda @ 5:09 am

The one thing that you really want to do when getting started online is to try to get acquainted with html editors such as FrontPage or Dreamweaver so that you can learn some basic site design skills. However, you can always find a good webmaster that you can tell your ideas to and have them do all the work for you. You also want to make sure that they’re direct response savvy so they can help you out.

If you start with the core concepts of building a squeeze page to gather visitor’s information as well as create or have someone write a sales letter as well as your autoresponder email messages, you can start selling and promoting products fairly quickly. After that is done, you can pretty much focus a lot of your time and energy into learning how to get traffic to that site. That’s really where you want to spend most of your time and energy. Getting traffic to your site will have you making profits in no time.

How do you do this?

You could start off basically where I started. You don’t have to be the expert or the guru, instead what I would recommend is finding affiliate programs to align yourself with and start selling other peoples products. That’s how I made my first million dollars online. I built a list, and I started emailing out to that list. So, you can use the same method to absolutely make it happen for yourself.

When I began online, I didn’t really have much experience. However, I focused on building a list because I knew that was one of the biggest things that I had to do at the beginning to start seeing results. I knew that if I had that list and had people to market to and people to send emails to that I could make money from them somehow – which I did! Then I found affiliate programs that matched the people’s wants and then sent out emails. If you can just focus on building your list, getting traffic to your squeeze page, and then sending out emails to sell stuff and do that religiously, you can make a good living for yourself. I guarantee it!

So yes, you can take this and run with it. Now just go for it!

Posting Other Peoples Links On Your Site

Well the fact that someone wants to advertise on your site and pay you money is definitely not a bad thing. However, instead of a yearly fee or a quarterly fee, I would charge them monthly. Now, when you are thinking about how much you should charge, I’ll tell you what I would do to narrow that down if I wanted to advertise on someone else’s site.

The very first thing I would do is evaluate what I’m willing to pay. I wouldn’t approach the site for this information, instead I would consult my Google toolbar (if you don’t have one you can install one easily from Google). I would go to the website and I would look at the page rank on the Google toolbar. If the page rank was a page rank of 5, I would be willing to pay the number of the page rank multiplied by 10, plus or minus 10. So I would pay between $40 to $60 a month to advertise on a page with a rank of 5. That would be what I would be expecting to pay you.

Let’s say the page rank is 3, I would be willing to pay $20 to $40 a month. So, you can see how I do it. I multiply the number of the page rank by ten and plus or minus ten from the total. That’s going to be a good way for you to establish the range. However, if you can get anywhere higher than that, you’re doing really good in my opinion. That’s a good way to evaluate what most people out there charge for that.

The one thing you should remember is that if you put too many links on your site it’s not going to be good. You cannot have more than 20 links coming off your website. So, if you’re going to put one, two, or five, and your sell space is five people and then you don’t have any more links except going to your own site, then it’s perfectly fine. When you think about that, if you had a page rank of five and you’re charging $50 a month and you’ve got five people, 5 times 50, that’s 250 dollars a month just by having a website up. I mean, you can’t go wrong there. That’s 250 times 12, so that’s going to bring you in three thousand extra bucks a year, just by having links on your website.

So is it a good idea? Well, if you feel that you want to make money that way, I don’t think there’s any problem with it. Just follow my pricing example and you shouldn’t have any problems establishing your rates.

Internet Marketing Success: Add Value

Filed under: Internet Marketing — by yubuda @ 5:07 am

I love internet marketing forums. They are very interactive and a lot of really great internet marketers congregate there. Everybody shares their knowledge and insights, and it is an incredible source of education and also a great place to build relationships with other internet marketers.

There are rules to follow in every forum, and people will get called on it or sometimes even banned for breaking these rules.

The other day an “old timer” in one of these forums (or at least a very respected member) made a post outlining a few things that people, especially newbies, were doing which were unacceptable. He talked about trashing people, which of course is a bad thing. However, he also talked about posting inadequate posts, talking about a product that you are promoting as an affiliate. This is something you are not supposed to do.

After reading this post, which was applauded by many on the forum, I did some soul searching and realized that I was not in complete agreement with what he was saying. Moreover, I myself had experienced being at the wrong end of one of these so called “product advertisement” posts, which was completely misunderstood.

I had only asked on the forum regarding a product which I really had an interest in getting opinions on. I was hesitating on whether to buy the product or not. I was not an affiliate or had any other connection to the product. I thought the forum was the perfect place to get great feedback and make up my mind if I was going to buy the product.

My post was immediately deleted. I asked the support desk why this had happened and received no reply. I suspected they thought I was promoting the product, but it was never made clear to me.

So I got up my courage and made a post in this thread started by the “old timer”. I stood up for newbies and explained what had happened to me as an example that everything is not necessarily black and white. I further explained that “newbies” do not necessarily want to do the wrong thing, they are just learning, and sometimes mistakes are made.

I was flooded by great responses to my post. Many people thanked me for bringing up something which was of value to this thread. Even the “old timer” that started the original thread thanked me. It really felt great to have been able to add value. If I had not had the courage to stand up for what I believed, I would not have experienced this appreciation. Moreover, I made a valuable point, which was well received.

Internet marketing success is gained one step at a time. You will not be a success overnight. Always seek to add value. You will be recognized. Internet marketers are very aware of solid internet marketers. Since the internet is so huge, you have to stand out on your own merits and gain the trust of others. The mark of a great internet marketer is in the value he adds.

Affiliate Marketing Intro

Filed under: Internet Marketing — by yubuda @ 5:05 am

Don’t worry it’s not a scam, pyramid scheme, or any of that fluff. I know, when I first heard about making money online that was the first thing that came to my head too. But when I started collecting checks every month, my whole theory changed!

So enough of all that, I’m actually going to show you how to start making money online now! What I want you to do first is go to a website called ClickBank and sign up (it’s free). What they do is manage a bunch of different products that you can promote for a commission. All you need to do is send traffic (people) to that product page, and if they buy, you make your commission. The correct term for it is, becoming an affiliate. Here’s a quick example to clear your up your confusion. Lets say one of the products is selling for $100 and you get a 50% commission. Every time you make a sale, you’ll obviously make $50. So if you get 10 people to buy it, you’ll get a check for $500! See what I mean, it’s possible to do and extremely easy!

Once you’ve signed up in ClickBank, the next important thing to know is obviously picking a good product to promote. Now this is where a bunch of affiliates fail to be successful online. But right now I’m going to tell you a quick tip that helped me become extremely successful, very quickly. Under each product in the “Marketplace” of ClickBank, there’s something called “grav”, what it means is Gravity. What that tells you is if the product is selling well. You always want to pick a product that is over 50 gravity. If the product isn’t over that, don’t go for it! Once you know that, you’ll be able to successfully sell products on ClickBank. The reason you want the Gravity to be high is because that tells you that other affiliates are successfully selling it. Let me tell you a quick secret that most people don’t know about Gravity. The number of Gravity actually means how many affiliates that product has! For example, if the gravity is 75, that means 75 different affiliates are selling the product at that time… Easy enough right?

So now that you have that down, go make some money online! It’s seriously not as hard as most people think, especially when you have the right people teaching you. That’s how I became successful online, just happened to be around the right teachers at the right time!

If you want to find out more about how you can become successful online through affiliate marketing, and also find out WHERE to promote, check out my free 7-day Bootcamp! I actually explain to you in detail how I did it, and how you can “actually” use the exact steps I did. It’s worth it, and it’s free, how could you say no!

Is It Really Possible To Make Insane Money Using Google Adsense?

Filed under: Internet Marketing — by yubuda @ 5:04 am

Fact number 2: Housewives, retirees, persons who are staying at home and have never made a dime on the Internet have created full-time revenue streams by simply placing AdSense ads on their web site or blog.

These are just some of the “super AdSense earners”. You may have already heard about their stories for they are among the few who are on their way to making millions worth of cash just by promoting AdSense sites.

Anyone, any age and gender can become money generating AdSense publishers as long as they can do what it takes. So how does one get to that point?

Writing articles for AdSense is the way to do it. Using the right keywords in your articles and having Google ads on a certain site has become the most profitable way of marketing that anybody can get into. No experience or particularly high level of education is needed. If you are not using this strategy, or are not aware of it in the first place, chances are you may be losing thousands of dollars worth of extra income that could have been yours.

This is one of the many reasons why writing original quality content articles is now the latest in marketing buzz. Content and links… when combined together becomes a really powerful tool to be deployed by a knowledgable website entrepreneur. Many internet marketing professionals are already aware of the value of original quality content and how using keywords can drive targeted traffic directly to their sites because of routine search engine inquiries.

So why don’t all these web site owners write and submit their own articles if that is what is important?

The simple answer is that it takes time to write articles, submit them and get targeted traffic to their websites. That is why many hire the services of those who write articles for a living. This approach works great if you have the money to invest in such services. But when you are starting out, you can achieve profitable results by doing it yourself, as long as you have the determination to learn and follow through.

Did you enjoy writing when you were in school? If you did, you already have an initial advantage over most internet marketing business owners that want to make money online.

With the boom in the AdSense market comes the need for sites to have fresh, quality and original keyword rich content. This way, web site owners can have a steady supply of articles with the proper keywords that relate to their site contents. The result of this is seen in the sites page rank when indexed by the search engines. And a higher ranking, in turn, gets more content related AdSense ads to show above, below or next to the article.

Write quality and original content, keyword or phrase rich articles with links to your website in the article resource box. The resource box can be found at the end of any article and it usually contains the author’s bio and links to the author’s web site or product. Then build a website or web page with targeted keyword or phrase rich original content, making sure the links in your article resource box point to that exact page. And on that page you will insert the Google AdSense ads that are targeted to the keywords you used in your web site content and in your article.

With a systematic approach you will soon notice a definite increase in revenue generated by your AdSense ads. Punch out one or two new articles every few days and repeatedly study and analyze the use of keywords for your particular AdSense theme as they are used by your competitors. If someone else is pitching the same “super widget” that you are, and that marketer seems to be enjoying a very high page ranking in the major search engines, then maybe it’s time for you to mimic and adapt some of that marketer’s techniques and use of keywords.

So are you ready to supercharge your AdSense campaigns? Good Internet Marketing will pay you back handsomely many times over. Writing articles targeted to your use of AdSense ads will help in getting you a piece of that action and cash.

Zero Friction Marketing-choosing The Best Cpa Offers

Filed under: Internet Marketing — by yubuda @ 5:03 am

Some common types you will find in nearly any CPA network’s portfolio are free-trial offers, zip-submit offers, and e-mail-submit offers.

Let’s begin with free-trial offers, because they are so popular among both advertisers and the marketers who promote them. The reason is simple: These free trial offers are often completely free to the customer, except for a small fee (as little as $1.95 or so) for shipping and handling. The customer gets a product they are interested for an incredibly low price, and the advertiser gets a valuable lead.

As a marketer, you might be wondering how this benefits you. Even though the offer is free, or nearly free, companies are often more than willing to pay generous commissions (as much as $20-$100 per lead). The reason is that many of these free trial offers are forced continuity programs – by accepting the free trial offer, the customer is agreeing to pay for more of the product when the free trial is up, often through a monthly auto-ship program.

All you need to worry about, however, is delivering the lead – retaining the customer is up to the advertiser. That means that you get a high commission on an offer that is easy to convert, and all you have to do is get the customer to the company’s landing page. Free-trial offers are popular for a reason…

Another very common type of CPA offer is a “zip submit.” All a visitor has to do in order for you to get paid is enter their zip code. You can be sure that the company running the promotion has a way to make money from the customer on the back end, but you as the CPA marketer get paid just for the customer’s zip code. These offers convert extremely well, although they are generally low-paying – you might earn as little as 75 cents to $1 for a zip submit, but if you can drive a lot of traffic to them even small change can add up to big money.

Another similar kind of offer is an “e-mail submit.” You have probably heard many marketers say that “the money is in the list,” but building a list of prequalified buyers can be tough, and so companies are willing to pay a lot for the right e-mail addresses. That’s where you come in: All the visitor needs to do is enter their e-mail address and you get paid. Like a zip-submit, the payouts can be a little low, but you can make up for that in volume.
